Latrobe Bulletin Fri, Nov 26, 1965 
George H. Karns, 85, of Youngstown, died Thursday morning in his home. Born Oct.
23, 1880, in Unity Township. Was member of St. James Lutheran Church of
Youngstown. Preceded in death by wife, Elizabeth Musick Karns, in May, 1964.
Surviving daughter, Mrs. George Lois) Goodman, two grandsons and one sister,
Miss Alice M. Karns of Youngstown. Friends received at James P. Gaut Funeral
Home, Pleasant Unity, after 7 p.m. today. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday
in St. James Lutheran Church, with the Rev. Leo S. LaFontaine officiating. The
body will lie in state at the church from 1 p.m. until the time of service.
Interment St. Paul's Lutheran Cemetery.
