The Ligonier Echo Wed, Jul 28, 1926
Mrs. Elizabeth Karns, aged 75 years 7 months and 44 days, died at her home in
Youngstown at 11 o'clock Sunday night of a complication of disease. She is
survived by her husband Henry Karns, and the following sons and daughters: J. H.
Karns, of Almosso, Colo.; G. R. Karns, of Youngstown; L. C. Karns, of Latrobe;
Mrs. A. G. Friedline, of Unity township; Mrs. W. W. Black, of Derry. She is also
survived by the following brothers and sisters: Robert A. Kuhns of Oak Grove;
John Kuhns of Ligonier Baker Kuhns of California; Mrs. H. H. Kuhns of Ligonier;
Mrs. Clark Arbaugh of Lansing, Mich.; Mrs. Jesse Griffith of Ligonier; Miss
Lucinda Kuhns and Miss Agnes Kuhns, both of Oak Grove. Fourteen grandchildren
and three great grandchildren also survive. 
Funeral Thursday Afternoon The funeral services for the late Mrs. Elisabeth
Karns, who died on Sunday night at her home in Youngstown, will be held on
Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock, daylight saving time, in the St. James Lutheran
church at Youngstown. The Rev. Henry Voeghtly will be in charge of the services.
Interment will be made in the Youngstown cemetery.
