Latrobe Bulletin Thu, Dec 17, 1936
Henry Karns died at three o'clock yesterday afternoon at his home, in
Youngstown, at the age of 80 years and 22 days. He is survived by the following
sons and daughters: J. H. Karns, of Alamosa, Col; Mrs. Catherine Friedline, of
Latrobe, R. D.; W. H. Karns of Youngstown: J. R. Karns, of Youngstown; Mrs.
Walter Black, of Derry; and L. E. Karns, of Latrobe. One brother, J. G. Karns,
of Greensburg; 11 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren also survive. Funeral
services for the late Henry Karns, of Youngstown, whose death occurred Wednesday
afternoon, will be held tomorrow afternoon at 2:00 o’clock in the St. James
Lutheran church, of Youngstown, in charge of Rev. J. Leonard Fischer. Interment
will be made in the Youngstown cemetery.
