Born in Unity twp., May 30, 1899, she was the daughter of the late Frank O. and Sarah Marks. She was a member of St James Lutheran Church, the Degree of Honor and an active member of the American Legion Auxiliary, having served two terms as president and in many other capacities. She was a 40-year member of the Annie Rebekah Lodge in which she held various offices, was district deputy president in this area for two years and was captain of the degree team of the local lodge for many years. In October of this year she was made a Lady of the Declaration of Chivalry, one of only two women in this area receiving that distinction. She was also widely known throughout the state for her work in the Rebeekah Sisterhood. She is survived by her husband, Ben Keim, and the following children: Ralph of Youngstown; Floyd and Mrs. William (Sally) Gettemy, Latrobe. Also surviving are nine grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. John Cunningham and Mrs. Hugh Shirey, both of Youngstown...the body will be removed to the St. James Lutheran Church on Sunday at 1 pm in Youngstown. She will lie in state until time of services, 2;30 pm, which will be conducted by her pastor, the Rev. Donald B. Power. Interment will follow in Unity Cemetery..
