Keltz, well known banker and business man of Jeannette dropped dead on the No. 10 green at the Greensburg Country Club golf course, 12:30 o'clock Memorial Day, as the result of a heart seizure. The collapse and death of the player created much excitement on the course and cast a pall over the holiday aspect of the club. Mr. Keltz was 58 years old. He had suffered from a heart condition for the past five years but was believed to have been in his usual health Friday when he went to the club to enjoy a match with friends. Mrs. Keltz and these sisters and, brother survive: Shannon Keltz, Latrobe; Mrs. James West, Latrobe; Mrs. F. O. Fowler, Ligonier, and Mrs. Copperstone, Cleveland. Mr. Keltz was a native of Ligonier and maintained a wide acquaintance throughout the Ligonier valley. He was president of the First National Bank of Jeannette, treasurer of the Jeannette Savings and Trust Company, also chairman of the board. Mr. Keltz is credited with the erection of the magnificent new First National bank Building in Jeannette and gave much effort and time in bringing the building project to completion. Funeral services conducted by the Rev. Wolf were held Monday afternoon in the Jeannette Methodist Episcopal Church.
