Charles Frederick King died suddenly at his home in Slickville, September 13,
1934, at 3:30 p. m., aged 80 years, six months, 30 days. He had been a resident
in Slickville for about 15 years, and spent a greater part of his time in
Westmoreland county although born in Pittsburgh. Surviving is his widow,
Catharine Conover King, six sons and three daughters as follows: Bert, Latrobe;
Charles, William and Mrs. Thomas Exton, Edna No 1, Mrs Benjamin Wood and John
King, Ukon; Paul, Andrew and Mrs. Thomas Jester, of Slickville. Funeral services
were held at 2 pm, September 16th, conducted by the Rev. McCammon, of Delmont,
and interment was made in Edgewood cemetery, Saltsburg.
