Latrobe Bulletin (Latrobe, Pennsylvania) 22 Dec 1980
Mrs. Leroy Kiser, 80, of Keeling Ave in Derry, died Sunday in Latrobe Hospital. She
was born July 3, 1900, in Latrobe, the daughter of the late Richard C. and Maude S.
Wineland Painter. A member of Trinity Evangelical Church of Derry, she was a former
medicine clerk at Torrence State Hospital. She was preceded in death by her first
husband, George D. Foster, in 1949, one brother and one sister. Surviving are her
husband, Leroy Kiser; one son, George L. Foster of Acton, Mass.; one daughter, Mrs.
Raymond (Helen) Grote, of Latrobe; two step-sons, Donald L. Kiser of Arizona and
James E. Kiser of West Point; two sisters, Mrs. Homer (Mary) Luttner of Latrobe and
Mrs. John R. (Mabel) McFarland of Greensburg; nine grandchildren; six great
grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Services will be held at 2:30 pm
Tuesday with the Rev. Jason A, Stanton, her pastor, officiating. Interment will
follow in Coles Cemetery, Derry.
