Ligonier Echo (Ligonier, Pennsylvania) 11 Jun 1965
Russell W Kissell, 69, Star Route, Ligonier, died at 7 p.m. Tuesday at McGinnis
Hospital after a lengthy illness. He was born Aug. 14, 1895, in Ligonier Township,
son of Henry McClelland & Amy Luther Kissell. He moved to Wilkinsburg, was employed
by A&P Tea Co. as a truck dispatcher, moved back to the Valley after his retirement.
Surviving wife, Mrs. Nancy June Clark Kissell; step-daughter, Mrs. Marion (Hazel)
Palmer, Grove City; four grandchildren; two great grandchildren; three brothers,
Harry, Wilbert, Roy all of Waterford, Ligonier Township. Friends received from 3 to
4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at D. Paul Wilkinson Funeral Home, 244 W. Main St., Ligonier.
Services will be held at 2:30 pm Friday at funeral home. Rev. Harold J. Knepp,
pastor of Ligonier EUB Church, officiating. Interment Green MT Cemetery.
