Latrobe Bulletin (Latrobe, Pennsylvania) 11/15/2021 	
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Thomas M. Kissell (Latrobe,
Pennsylvania), born in Mammoth, Pennsylvania, who passed away on November 13, 2021
at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this
memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael J. Kissell and Catherine J. Kissell
(Soltis); his wife Helen M. Kissell (Whisdosh); his son Dr. Thomas X. Kissell; and
his siblings, Edward J. Kissell, Mary Seni, Pauline Mizak and Dorothy Abzanka.
He is survived by: his children, Dr. Helen Burns (Jerry), Paulette Stratico (Chuck),
Darlene Kimmel (Carl Pedersen), Don Kissell (Valerie), Kathryn Shaffer (Jeff), Cindy
Hoffman (Randy), Annette Mowery (Ron Reiner), Jennifer Strayer (Randy) and Kevin X.
Kissell; his daughter-in-law Mary C. Kissell; and his sister-in-law Frances Kissell.
He is also survived by 22 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the
Helen and Thomas Kissell Endowed Service Learning Fund at St. Vincent College, 300
Fraser Purchase Road, Latrobe, PA 15650.
