Latrobe Bulletin Wed, Nov 01, 1967 
August E. Knapfel, 86, Latrobe RD 4, died 4:40 p.m. yesterday at home. Born in
Germany, April 6, 1881. Member of Christ United Church of Christ, Loyal Order of
Moose 95. Retired farmer and lumberman. Surviving sons, Edward, Fred, Albert,
all Latrobe RD 4, daughter, Mrs. John (Emma) Dick, at home; seven grandchildren;
three great-grandchildren. Family will receive friends 3 to and 7 to 9 p.m. at
the M. S. Hartman. Funeral Home with funeral services in the chapel at 11 am
Friday, the Rev. Robert H. Rezash officiating. Interment in St. James Lutheran
Cemetery, Youngstown. The Consistory of the church hold services 7 p.m.
tomorrow.
