Peggyrae A. Knauff, 64, of Mt. Pleasant, passed away Thursday, April 1, 2021. Born
Nov. 19, 1956, in Latrobe, she was the daughter of the late James Thomas Washnock
and Anna Catherine Felbaum. She was preceded in death by her brother, Melvin T. and
two brothers-in-law, Ron and Jeff. Peggyrae is survived by her loving husband, Rex.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by three sons, Rex III (Jessica), Thomas
and Stephen (Taylor); six grandchildren Joseph, Micaylah, Hunter, Haylee, Dominick
and Stephanie; two sisters-in-law, Judy (Charles) and Louis and brothers-in-law,
Bill (Ken), Jeff's life partner, John, and several nieces and nephews. She was an
active member of Community Church of Hecla. Peggyrae also belonged to the Red Hat
Ladies and enjoyed gardening. Family and friends are welcome to share their memories
and offer condolences Tuesday, April 6, 2021, from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Community
Church of Hecla, 537 Hecla Road, Mt. Pleasant, PA 15666. Peggyrae's funeral service
will be private, Wednesday, April 7 with Reverend Dr. Dale L. Porterfield
officiating. Entombment to follow at Middle Presbyterian Cemetery, Mt. Pleasant. The
JAY A. HOFFER HOME, Norvelt, is trusted by the family for Peggyrae's care. In lieu
of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Hecla Community Church537 Hecla
Road, P. O. Box 105, Southwest, PA 15685. Published by Tribune Review from Apr. 5 to
