Irene A. Kozar, 50, of Ligonier died Friday Jan. 22, 1993. She was born July 8,
1942 in Greensburg, a daughter of the late Harold Myers and Genevieve (Goslicky)
Myers of Latrobe. She was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church, Ligonier,
and its church choir, and was a volunteer for the Westmoreland County Head Start
Program. In addition to her father she was preceded in death by a sister, Cheryl
Myers. She is survived by her husband, Stephen M. Kozar; three sisters, Mrs.
John (Leslie) McCowan of Aiken, South Carolina; a niece, Meagan McCowan; a
nephew, Ryan McCowan; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. Friends will be
received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday and Monday in the McCabe Funeral
Home, 244 Nest Main St., Ligonier. Funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m.
Tuesday in the funeral home with he Rev. Herbert Gates officiating. Interment
will follow in St. John's Orthodox Cemetery, Wilpen.
