Latrobe Bulletin (Latrobe, Pennsylvania)  14 Aug 1916
Daniel Kuhns, a lifelong resident of Unity Township, died at the home of his
daughter, Mrs. Clark Cunningham, in Youngstown, last night. His death was due to
disabilities incident to his advanced age of 79 years. He had been failing since the
death of his wife, about two years ago. He gave up an active life following the
death of Mrs. Kuhns and since then had spent most of his time visiting among his
children, in the intervals making his home in Johnstown. He came to the Cunningham
home last Wednesday. He is survived by three sons and five daughters, Mrs. Fred
Lentz, of near Baggaley, is a daughter. The funeral services will be held in
Johnstown on Wednesday morning at 10:30 o'clock.
