Mrs. Edna Myrtle Kuhns, 80, of Latrobe R.D. 1, (Youngstown) died Friday in
Latrobe Area Hospital. She was born in Unity Twp.. Oct. 14, 1896, daughter of
the late Paul Albert and Ellen (Taylor) Achhammer. She was a Gold Star Mother.
She was preceded in death by two sons, George, who was killed in action during
World War II, and Raymond who died Dec. 4, 1973. Surviving are her husband, Ira
Kuhns; one daughter, Mrs. Mike (Catherine) Hudock of Latrobe R.D. 4; four
grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. Friends were received in Richard W.
Dell Home for Funerals, Latrobe, where funeral services were held at 11 a.m.
Monday with the Rev. Robert C. Schlotter officiating. Interment followed in St.
James Lutheran Cemetery, Youngstown.
