Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at her late home at 2 o'clock, conducted by her pastor, Rev. Theo. Buch, of the local Lutheran church of which she was a life-long and faithful member. She is survived by her aged husband with whom she was united in marriage about 65 years ago. She is the mother of 14 children, 10 of whom survive her, 3 sons: Robert, at home; John, of Ligonier, and Baker, of Washington state, and 7 daughters: Elizabeth Karns, of Youngstown; Therissa Kuhns, of Ligonier; Misses Lucinda and Agnes, at home; Mary Ankney, of Ligonier township; Lavina Arbaugh, of Lansing, Mich.; Esther Griffith, of Ligonier; and by 34 grandchildren and 11 great- grandchildren. Also by one sister, Mrs. Louise Clark, of Ligonier township. All of her children were present at the funeral except her son, Baker Kuhns, and her daughter, Mrs. Lavina Arbaugh. The interment was made in the Valley cemetery and the body was followed by a very large concourse of relatives and friends to its last resting place, the train of carriages and buggies reaching from Ligonier to the cemetery.
