Latrobe Bulletin (Latrobe, Pennsylvania) 12 Nov 1985
Mrs. Bertha A. Lawson, 85, of Raleigh, N.C., (formerly of Latrobe), died Sunday,
November 10, 1985, in Raleigh. She was born Feb. 24, 1900, in Westmoreland county, a
daughter of the late Cyrus and Jennie Albert Smith. A member of Trinity Evangelical
Lutheran Church of Latrobe, she was predeceased by her husband, Leroy Lawson, in
1976. Surviving are two sons, Robert L. of Raleigh and Ronald W. of Latrobe RD 4;
three grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. Service will be held at 11 am
Wednesday in Trinity Lutheran church with the Revs. Donald McCoid, Fred Opalinski
and Ann Schmid officiating. Interment will follow in the Unity Cemetery.
