Mrs. Lillian W. Lawson, 85, of Lawson Heights, Latrobe (Unity Township), died
Monday, Dec. 22, 1997, in Latrobe Area Hospital. She was born March 12, 1912, in
Unity Township, a daughter of the late Vernon and Lilly (Syard) Pelton. She was
a member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church in Latrobe and the Annie Rebekah
Lodge 134. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband,
Emory W. Lawson Sr., in 1991, and her brother, Joseph Pelton. She is survived by
her son, Emory W. Lawson Jr. of Latrobe (Unity Township), and two grandsons,
Justin and Travis Lawson. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Tuesday in Hartman-Graziano Funeral Home Inc., 1500 Ligonier St., Latrobe.
Funeral service will be held at noon Wednesday in Trinity Evangelical Lutheran
Church, Latrobe, with the church pastors officiating. Interment will follow in
St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery, Trauger. Annie Rebekah Lodge 134 will hold a service
at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home.
