Lazzelle, 164 Third St., Derry, died Sunday at 11 p.m. in Latrobe Hospital after being taken ill on his engine in the Derry railroad yards. He was the son of the late Arthur Lazzelle and Mrs. Arthur Peffer Lazzelle Walters. A life-long member of the Methodist Church, he bad been an official and trustee at the church for many years. He was a member of the General Grievance Committee of the F. Brotherhood of Locomotive Firemen and Enginemen, Pennsylvania Lines East and Pennsylvania Reading Seashore Lines and served many years on the Brotherhood's Executive Committee and was their legislative chairman, local chairman and present recording secretary. He was a member of LaMonte Lodge, No. 568, F. and A. M., Tall cedars of Lebanon and the Coudersport Consistory. Surviving are his widow, Lulu M. Lazzelle, and the following sisters and brothers: Mrs. Irene Peden, Ligonier; William B. Walters, Lorain, O.; R. L. and Paul F. Walters, both of Derry, and Mrs. Jeanne Shearer, Lansing, Mich. His step-father, John K. Walters, also survives. Funeral services will be held at the Hughes Funeral Home, Derry, at 2 p.m. Wednesday with the Rev John C. Cox in charge. Interment will follow in Coles Cemetery. Masonic services will be held at the Funeral Home Tuesday at 7:30 P m.
