Latrobe Bulletin Tue, Dec 30, 1980 
Mrs. Emma E. Lenhart, 62, of Latrobe RD 4, died Monday at the home of her
daughter, Mrs. Nancy Barlock of Acme RD 1. She was born Aug. 24, 1918, in
Hostetter, the daughter of the late Ira and Myrtle Nicely Stahl Piper. She was a
member of Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by
an infant daughter, Margaret Thelma Lenhart, and one brother. Surviving are her
husband, Clarence G. Lenhart; one daughter, Mrs. James (Nancy) Barlock of Acme R
D 1; five sons, Kenneth G. of Latrobe RD 4, Clair R. of Acme RD 1, Carl H. of
Lemont Furnace R D 2, Dean F. of Stahlstown and Roger L. of Ligonier RD 4; three
brothers, Ray and Walter Piper, both of Latrobe R D 4, and Calvin Piper of
Greensburg; one sister, Mrs. Robert (Wanda) Grote of Youngstown; three
stepbrothers, Merle, William and Carl Piper, all of Latrobe RD 4; one step-
sister, Mrs. Elmer (Violet) Lenhart of Latrobe RD 4; 20 grandchildren, and one
great-grandchild. Friends will be received in L. Boyd Snyder Funeral Home, Route
711, Stahlstown, from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday
and Thursday. Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday in Pleasant Grove United
Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Huey G. Orsborn, her pastor, officiating.
Interment will follow in Pleasant Grove Cemetery.
