Audrey G. Lentz, 81, of Latrobe died Tuesday, April 21, 2009, at her residence.
She was born Nov. 6, 1927, in Derry, a daughter of the late John and Mary
(Worman) Boring. Besides her parents, Audrey was preceded in death by an infant
daughter, Margaret Marie Lentz; a grandson, Thomas E. Lentz, and a brother,
Clarence Boring. She is survived by her husband, Gerald R. Lentz; two sons,
Thomas E. Lentz and his wife, Suzanne, of Greensburg and Gerald A. Lentz and his
fiancé, Pamela Piper, of Latrobe; two daughters, Sharon Shirey and her husband,
David, of Ligonier and Tammy Riffle and her husband, Brian, of Latrobe; a
brother, Perry Boring and his wife, Nancy, of Detroit, Mich.; three sisters,
Mary Sauers and her husband, Larry, of Derry, Martha Gruner of Derry and Helen
Campbell and her husband, Robert, of Blairsville; 11 grandchildren; three great-
grandchildren; three step-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. Family
and friends will be received 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday in John J. Lopatich
Funeral Home Inc., 601 Weldon St., Latrobe. Funeral service will be held 1:30
p.m. Friday in the funeral home with the Rev. August B. Twigg officiating.
Interment will be in Westmoreland County Memorial Park, Hempfield Township.
