Mrs. Mary Ruth Lentz, 73, of Latrobe died Tuesday, Feb. 21, 1989, in Latrobe
Area Hospital. She was born May 22, 1915, in Uniontown, a daughter of the late
Isaac F. and Gertrude Jeffrey Roby. She was a member of St. James Evangelical
Lutheran Church, Youngstown. She also was preceded in death by one brother,
Jeffrey. She is survived by her husband, Oliver C. Lentz; four sons, David O. of
Bolivar, Daniel K. of Los Angeles, Calif., George J. of Richmond, Va., and
Thomas E., of Latrobe; three daughters, Donna J. Lentz of Latrobe, Mrs. Brian
(Marjorie) Henderson of Albany, N.Y., and Julie A. Fiedler of Latrobe; three
brothers, R. Kenneth Roby of Latrobe, John P. of Bemus Point, N.Y., and George
of Afton Heights, Md.; 18 grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren. Friends
will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday
in Dell-Frederick Funeral Home, 1543 Ligonier St., Latrobe. A funeral service
will be conducted at 10 a.m. Friday in the funeral home by her pastor, the Rev.
Judith Boggs. Interment will be in Unity Cemetery, Unity Township.
