C., husband of Margaret Elizabeth Simons Lentz, died Monday, Nov. 20, 2000, at a local hospital. He was born in Baggaley, a son of Russell Theodore Lentz and Margaret Marie Marks Lentz. Mr. Lentz served in the U. S. Army (1951) during the Korean War and the U. S. Navy (1958). A member of the St. James Episcopal Church, he was a Mason of Franklin Lodge, Scottish Rite and Omar Shrine Temple. Survivors include his wife of James Island; four sons, Kenneth R. Jr., of Savannah, Ga., Theodore E. and Eric N., both of James Island, and Daniel Alan of Marshfield, Wis.; four grandsons; four brothers, Gerald of Baggaley, Norman of Jacksonville, Fla., Frederick of Summersworth, N. H., and Vaync of Greensburg, and a sister, Miriam Blystone of Hostetter. Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday in St. James Episcopal Church. Interment will be in St. James Episcopal Churchyard. Flowers will be accepted, or memorials may be made to the Shriners Hospital for Crippled Children, Greenville Unit, 950 W.
