Latrobe Bulletin Mon, Jun 27, 1960 ·Page 1
Fred O Lenz, Sr., 60, a former member of Latrobe Borough Council from the 5th
ward, died at 8:30 pm Saturday, June 25, 1960, following a heart attack. Mr.
Lenz who resided at 8 Ave B, was stricken while driving along Route 981 in the
vicinity of Holiday Acres Golf Course. (He eased his vehicle off the road into
brush, Golfers helped remove him from the car and load him into an ambulance.)
Surviving are his widow, Marie McCallen Lenz, a daughter Ruth H Lenz, at home,
and two sons, Fred O., Jr., at home, and Donald A. of Latrobe. Interment in
Unity Cemetery.
