Frederick O. Lenz Jr., 56, of Latrobe RD 4 died Wednesday, May 30, 1990, in St.
Francis Medical Center of Pittsburgh. He was born Jan. 26, 1934, in Truxal, Pa.,
a son of the late Frederick Oliver and Marie McCallen Lenz. He was a member of
Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church of Latrobe and an employee of Standard Steel
of Latrobe. He was a member of the Loyalhanna Lodge 275 of F&AM. Besides his
parents, he was predeceased by a sister, Ruth Harkleroad. Surviving are his wife
of 40 years, DeMaris Stitt Lenz; three sons, Frederick 0. of Lorton, Va.,
Clifford A. of Manassas, Va., and Shannon W. of Ligonier; three grandchildren,
and a brother, Donald A. of New Alexandria. Friends will be received from 3 to 5
and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday in John J. Lopatich Funeral Home Inc., 601 Weldon St.,
Latrobe. Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday in Trinity Lutheran
Church with the Trinity pastors officiating. Interment will follow in Unity
Cemetery, Unity Township.
