Just a few hours after her aged husband had been buried, Tuesday, Mrs. William
D. K. Lloyd, of Trafford, died from pneumonia, the same disease which caused the
death of Mr. Lloyd. Mrs. Lloyd became ill with pneumonia on Sunday afternoon,
following the death of Mr. Lloyd early Sunday morning. She was confined to her
bed, seriously ill, and was unable to attend the burial at the Irwin Union
cemetery, Tuesday afternoon, because of her illness and her advanced age. Her
death occurred Tuesday evening. Funeral services for Mrs. Lloyd will be held
Friday, at Trafford, with interment following in the Irwin cemetery. Mr. Lloyd
was a brother of Harry R. Lloyd of Latrobe. Both Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd had
relatives in the Ligonier valley.
