Margaret E. Lloyd, 92, of Latrobe passed away Tuesday, Dec. 2, 2008, in
Loyalhanna Care Center, Derry Township. She was born March 15, 1916, in Latrobe,
a daughter of the late William and Florinda (Hawk) Campbell. Prior to her
retirement, Margaret was a cafeteria worker for the Greater Latrobe School
District. She was a charter member of Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Unity
Township and a former member of the church choir. She also was a member of the
Lutheran Church Women, the Latrobe Hospital Aid Society and a former member of
the Senior Citizen Bowling League. In addition to her parents, she was preceded
in death by her husband, Kenneth E. Lloyd Sr., in 1978; a granddaughter, Sandra
Smith, and a brother, Robert Campbell. She is survived by three children, Donna
J. Smith and her husband, William, of Latrobe, Loretta M. Hurite of Cuyahoga
Falls, Ohio, and Kenneth E. Lloyd Jr. and his wife, Joanne, of Latrobe; seven
grandchildren, Kerri Cummings, Mark Hurite, Kathy Wilbur, Diane Emch, Alan
Hurite, Beth Ann Pittler and David Lloyd; 15 great-grandchildren, and a brother,
Edward Campbell and his wife, Barbara, of York. Friends will be received from 2
to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday in Hartman-Graziano Funeral Home Inc., 1500
Ligonier St., Latrobe. Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday in Prince
of Peace Lutheran Church with her pastor, the Rev. William A. Schaefer,
officiating. Private interment will be in the Lycippus Community Cemetery,
Lycippus.
