Lohr, 71, of 2233 Hunter Rd., Greensburg, died Sunday in Westmoreland Hospital, Greensburg. He was born March 2, 1906, in Youngwood, a son of the late James T. and Anna Belle Strickler Lohr. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Mrs. Gertrude Armbrust Lohr, June 26, 1954, and by three brothers, Wilbur, Alva, and Donald. A retired mechanic for Westmoreland Construction Co., South Greensburg, he was a member of the Hempfield Twp. Roosevelt Club. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Cecilia Carbone Eichner Lohr; six children, Mrs. James (Annabelle) Taylor of Greensburg, Mrs. William (Dolores) Barber of Greensburg, Mrs. Robert (Beverly) Woods of Davin, W. Va., Mrs. Gary (Helen) Henness of Baltimore, Md., James W. of Greensburg and John D. of Brownsville; three stepchildren, Mrs. Alice Knizner of South Greensburg, Mrs. Ted (Janet) Cams Jr. of Laughlintown and Robert T. Eichner Jr. of Youngwood; 17 grandchildren; nine step-grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. L. C. (Charlotte) Dillon of Greensburg and Mrs. Paul (Ella Mae) King of West Newton, and two nephews. Friends will be received in Clement L. Pantalone Funeral Home, 409 West Pittsburgh St., Greensburg, 7 to 9 p.m. Monday and 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday in the funeral home with the Rev. J. L Clark officiating. Interment will be in Westmoreland County Memorial Park, Greensburg.
