Loughner, 84, of 2480 S. Grande Blvd., Greensburg, formerly of Latrobe, died Thursday, May 31, 1990, in Westmoreland Manor, Hempfield Township. He was born Jan. 16, 1906, in Baggaley, a son of the late James E. and Gertrude Fry Loughner. Prior to his retirement, he was a self-employed painter and bus driver. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Marie Elizabeth O'Brien Loughner, on Aug. 6, 1976; two sons, James E. and Thomas L. Loughner, and a sister, Edna Mae Wright. He is survived by eight daughters, Mrs. Teresio (Martha Jane) Reffo and Mrs. Felix (Rita L.) Reffo, both of Seger, Mrs. Pietro (Janet M.) Manno of Peanut, Mrs. Albert (Marian M.) Banocy of Bradenville, Mrs. Lloyd (Betty G.) Anderson in Michigan, Mrs. John (Isabelle V.) Guzik of Greensburg, Mrs. Victor (Carol J.) Staniscia of Blairsville and Mrs. Monroe (Mary Lou) Agostino of Derry; a son, Paul Loughner of Latrobe; 41 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren. Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday in Michael J. Ouinlisk Funeral Home, 548 N. Chestnut St., Derry. Service will be held at 9:30 a.m. Monday in the funeral home with the Rev. Jeffrey L. Schock of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, Latrobe, officiating. Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Unity Township.
