G. Henry Lundquist, 80, of Sheakleyville (formerly of Ligonier R.D. 2) died
Sunday in Grove City. He was born Sept. 24, 1897, in Hastings, a son of the late
August and Sara Larsen Lundquist. A member of Bethel Lutheran Church of Latrobe
R.D. 4 he was a retired farmer. Surviving are his widow, Margaret Phillippi
Lundquist; one daughter, Mrs. William (Sara) Weiss of Sheakleyville; two sons,
William of Chattanooga, Tenn., and Charles of Medina, Ohio; nine grandchildren;
three great-grandchildren, and one brother, Emil of Fort Lauderdale, Fla.
Friends will be received in Snyder Funeral Home, Bell and East Church Streets,
Ligonier, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday. Services will be held at 1:30
p.m. Wednesday in Bethel Lutheran Church, Latrobe R.D. 4, with the Rev. Norman
Appleby and the Rev. E. Stewart Proper officiating. Interment will follow in
Pleasant Grove Cemetery.
