He was born in Sweden, son of the late Anders and Anna Nordlof Lundquist. He was a veteran of World War I with 72nd Field Artillery at Camp Knox, Ky., and a self-employed machinist and operator of Lundquist Tool and Machine. He was preceded in death by one son, Earnest, in 1933. Surviving are two sons, August of Pasadena, Calif., and Edward of Elgin, S.C.; one daughter, Mrs. John B. (Caroline) Rakar of Latrobe; seven grandchildren; six great- grandchildren; one brother, Carl of Baggaley, and one sister, Ida Mork of Sweden. Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday in Owen Wolford Funeral Home, Ligonier. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday in the chapel of the funeral home with the Rev. Conway Keibler officiating. Interment will follow in Ligonier Valley Cemetery.
