Mary Margaret (Mayme) Lundquist, 84, of 1117 Ligonier St., Latrobe, died Monday
morning in Latrobe Area Hospital. She was born in Latrobe May 12, 1895, daughter
of the late Anthony and Jennie (Henderson) Showalter. She was preceded in death
by her husband, August E. Lundquist, March 29, 1968. She was a member of Christ
United Church of Christ. Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Melvin (Ruth) Walter
of Latrobe; four stepchildren, Mrs. Edgar (Gertrude) Black of Laughlintown, Mrs.
Paul (Rose) Balko of Youngstown, Mrs. John (Ruth) Bodner of Latrobe and Paul
Lundquist of Laughlintown; one grandson; one brother, Francis Showalter of
Latrobe; several nieces and nephews, and two great-grandchildren. Family will
receive friends in Richard W. Dell Home for Funerals, Latrobe from 3 to 5 and 7
to 9 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m.
Thursday in the chapel of the funeral home, with the Rev. Veldon R. Grasmick
officiating. Interment will follow in Unity Cemetery.
