Latrobe Bulletin Tue, May 22, 1984
Ralph H. Lydic, 82, of New Alexandria RD 1, died Monday, May 21, 1984, in
Latrobe Area Hospital. He was born July 7, 1901, in Derry Township, a son of the
late Archie Clinton and Mary Elizabeth Hudson Lydic. Before his retirement, he
was a coal miner for Huron Mine in New Alexandria. He was a member of Community
United. Surviving are his wife, Emily Reece Lydic; one daughter, Mrs. Edward
(Dorothy) Dolezal of Latrobe; three stepdaughters; four stepsons; seven
grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren, and one brother, Harry Lydic of New
Alexandria. Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and 2 to 4 and 7
to 9 p.m. Wednesday in M. Wallace Felton Funeral Home, New Alexandria. Services
will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday in the funeral home with the Rev. R. Bruce
Maxwell and the Rev. David Bean officiating. Interment will follow in New
Alexandria Union Cemetery.
