He was born in Latrobe Nov. 15, 1921, a son of the late Frank and Josephine Fitz Marcinik. Formerly employed by Chamberlain Co., Derry, he was a veteran of World War II, serving with the 101 Airborne Division. He is survived by his wife, Myrtle Campbell Marcinik; two daughters, Mrs. Galen (Effie) Health of Saltsburg, and Mrs. John (Constance) Balega of New Florence; one granddaughter; three brothers: Frank of Loyalhanna and John and Stanley, both of Latrobe, and one sister, Mrs. Joseph (Helen) Kubistek of Latrobe. Family will receive friends from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday and Friday in M.S. Hartman Funeral Home, Latrobe. Blessing service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday in the chapel of the funeral home. Military service will be held by various military organizations at 11 a.m. Saturday. Interment will follow in Westmoreland County Memorial Park.
