Latrobe Advance Wed, Jan 25, 1888 
Death of Solomon Markle
Tuesday evening last, Solomon Markle, an aged shoemaker of Altoona, suddenly
fell dead in his shop at that place. He was well known in this section, having
resided in Latrobe for a number of years. About ten years ago he left here with
his family for Altoona where they have lived ever since. At the time of his
death, Mr. Markle was 72 years of age. He leaves an aged wife and a family of
four grown children to mourn his sudden death.
