Latrobe Bulletin Wed, Sep 28, 1949 
J. Logan Marks, aged 61 years, of Whitney, died at 10:30 a. m. yesterday in the
Latrobe Hospital. Mr. Marks is survived by his widow, Mrs. Florence Heintzelman
Marks and the following children: Mrs. Fay Armel and Mrs. Elaine Miller, both of
Whitney; Mrs. Vivian Himler, of Blairsville RD 3, and Mrs. Evelyn Schienle, of
Pittsburgh. Twelve grandchildren, and a brother Edward, of Greensburg, RD 5, and
two sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth Stairs, of Lycippus, and Mrs. Ankney, of New
Alexandria RD also survive. Friends will be received at the home until noon
Friday. The body will be removed to St. Paul's Evangelical and Reformed Church
at Trauger and lie in state there from 1:30 until 2:30, at which time services
will be conducted by the pastor, the Rev. A. H. K. Hozhauer. Interment will be
made in the church cemetery.
