Mrs. Mary Heintzelman Marks, 93, of Youngstown, died Tuesday, Feb. 8, 1983, in
Latrobe Area Hospital. Born May 4, 1889, in Ligonier Township, she was a
daughter of the late William R. and Merb Bittner Heintzelman. She was a member
of St. James Lutheran Church, Youngstown. In addition to her parents, she was
preceded in death by her husband, John C. Marks, in 1955, and one daughter,
Goldie Hauser, in 1980. Surviving are one brother, Jeter R. Heintzelman of
Latrobe; one grandson, and three great-grandchildren. Friends will be received
from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday in James P. Gaut
Funeral Home Inc., Pleasant Unity. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday in
St. James Lutheran Church, Youngstown, with her pastor, the Rev. Phillip N.
Gustafson, officiating. Interment will follow in St. James Lutheran Cemetery.
