The Ligonier Echo, Ligonier, Pennsylvania 10 Jun 1903
Absalom Marks, who lived with his daughter, Mrs. C. Buell, on Market street, and had
a shoemaker's repair shop on Church street died suddenly last Sunday afternoon of
apoplexy at Derry where he had gone on a visit. He was aged about 76. Funeral was
held yesterday at Derry. He was a brother of Reuben Marks, of Lose, who is the only
surviving brother.
