Marks, 68, of Latrobe R. D.4, died Thursday, Feb. 13, 1992, in Latrobe Area Hospital. He was born Jan. 15, 1925, in Unity Township, a son of the late George F. and Blanche Lavelle Marks. Prior to his retirement, he was employed in the extrusion department by Kennametal, Inc., Latrobe, for 38 years. He was a veteran of the U. S. Air Force, having served during World War II in the European Theater. He was a member of St. James Lutheran Church, Youngstown. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Edward and Corbett, and a sister, Mrs. Audrey B. Chambers. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. M. Jean Aukerman Marks; a daughter Mrs. Edward (Carolyn) Ribblet of Latrobe RD 4; two sisters, Mrs. Herman (Louise) Huhn and Mrs. Melcena Lundquist, both of Latrobe RD 6; two grandsons, Douglas and Jeffrey, and a great-grandchild. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p. m. Saturday and Sunday in Dell- Frederick Funeral Home, 1543 Ligonier St., Latrobe. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday in St. James Evangelical Lutheran Church, Youngstown, with the Rev. Judith Boggs officiating. Interment will be in Bethel Cemetery, Cook Township, Westmoreland Co.
