Latrobe Bulletin (Latrobe, Pennsylvania), March 29, 1943
Calvin Jonas Marks, aged 68 years, six months and seven days, died at 8:30 o'clock,
Saturday evening at his home near Baggaley. He is survived by his widow Mrs. Mary
Melcena Marks, and the following children: George Marks, of Norvelt; Mrs. Robert
Gibson, of Latrobe RD 1; Oscar Marks, Mrs. Russell Lentz, Mrs. Walter Forsha and
Mrs. William King, all of Latrobe RD 1. These brothers and sisters also survive:
Mrs. Alice McKenna, of Youngstown; Mrs. Martha Campbell, of Baggaley; Mrs. Margaret
Wahl, of Uniontown and John, of Youngstown. Twenty-three grandchildren and one great
granddaughter also survive. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 o'clock, Tuesday
afternoon, at his late home in charge of the Rev. W.E. Bauer, pastor of the Harrison
City Lutheran Church. Interment will be made in St. James Lutheran Cemetery,
Youngstown. (Obit: 3/29/1943)
