Lying scarcely 500 yards from the Lincoln Highway, the body would have been visible from the road had it not been for the snow covering the shrubbery, vines and trees. Ben Keim of Latrobe, a brother-in-law of the dead man, was the person who found the body...An investigation conducted at the spot where the body was found, indicated that the tragedy had occurred through accident...Mr. Marks had worked in the coal mines, but had not been employed recently. He had been in poor health complaining of pains in his head. He is survived by his widow, his mother, Mrs. Sarah Marks of Youngstown, and three sisters: Mrs. Hugh Shirey and Mrs. John Cunningham both of Youngstown, and Mrs. Ben Keim of Latrobe. Funeral services will be held from his late home at 2:30 o'clock Sunday afternoon, in charge of the Rev. Henry Voegtly, pastor of the St. James Lutheran Church. Interment will be made in the Youngstown cemetery. Mr. Marks was a member of the I.O.O.F.
