Latrobe Bulletin Wed, May 10, 1995
Word has been received of the death of August Masters, 89, of Glendale, Calif.,
(formerly of Derry). He died May 7, 1995. He was born Jan. 18, 1906, a son of
the late Antonio and Marla (Sconciaturno) Mastrorocco. In addition to his
parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Salvatore "Abby" Mastrorocco,
and a sister, Ada Mastrorocco Apone. Surviving are his wife, Florence, and the
following brothers and sisters: Rose Cherup of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., Edmond of
Latrobe, Ellen Paschell of Youngstown, Ohio, Mary DeLuca of Blairsville, Lydia
Sarp of Latrobe, Louise Steffani, Teresa Lazarchik and Dorothy Syster, all of
Derry, Anthony of Be-verly, Mass., Anna Grace Mosso of Natrona Heights and
Joseph of Latrobe, and several nieces and nephews. Services will be held In
Glendale.
