Mary Louise McBride, 87, of Latrobe died Wednesday, March 3, 1993, in Latrobe
Area Hospital. She was born Nov. 25, 1905, in Latrobe, a daughter of the late
James E. and Avisa Chaplin McBride. She was a graduate of Seton Hill College and
had worked as a teacher of mathematics in Greater Latrobe School District until
her retirement with 40 years of service. She was a member of Holy Family Roman
Catholic Church, Latrobe, and Seton Hill Alumni Association. In addition to her
parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Avasia, in 1981 and a brother,
James A. McBride, 1991. She is survived by two sisters, Margretta and Regina
McBride, both of Latrobe. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Friday In Dell-Frederick Funeral Home Inc., 1543 Ligonier St., Latrobe. A
funeral mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday in Holy Family Roman
Catholic Church, Latrobe. Interment will follow in St. Vincent Cemetery, Unity
Township. A wake service will be held Friday evening in the funeral home.
