McBryar of 132 Jefferson Ave., Vandergrift, died yesterday (Jan. 15, 1975) at 9:30 a.m. in Allegheny Valley Hospital, Natrona Heights. He was born in Washington Township to Isaac and Bertha Schaffer McBryar. Mr. McBryar lived in the Vandergrift area all of his life and was a former employee of the Vandergrift Plant of U.S. Steel Corp. in the open hearth department. He was retired in 1959 after 30 years at the plant. He was a member of the Church of God in Vandergrift. He is survived by his widow, Evelyn Beatty McBryar; three brothers; Harold of Five Points, Milford of Saltsburg and Eugene of Avonmore; three sisters, Mrs. Gladys Horrell of Saltsburg; Mrs. Andrew (Lillian) O'Rourke of Detroit, Mich., and Mrs. Don (Caroline) Smeltzer of Lower Burrell. A brother, Marquis, died in 1956. Friends may call in the Dunmire-Kerr Funeral Home, 244 Franklin Ave., Vandergrift, from 7 to 9 p.m. today and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow. A service will be conducted in the funeral home on Saturday (Jan. 18, 1975) at 1 p.m. by the Rev. David Bailey, his pastor, and the Rev. Robert Johnson, pastor of Kahlestown Church of God.
