McCauley, aged 72 years, died Sunday at his home near Darlington station, from a complication of diseases. He was a veteran of the Civil war. Surviving him are his widow, Mrs. Eliza McCauley, and one son, Samuel McCauley. Two brothers, John H. McCauley, of Ligonier township, and Attorney Hugh G. McCauley, of Pueblo, Colo., and one sister, Mrs. T. E. Marriott, of Latrobe, also survive. Funeral services were held at St. Vincent's on Wednesday morning, Oct. 29, at 10 o'clock. Interment was made in St. Vincent's cemetery.
