IN MEMORIAM [Abstract] - As the sun's declining rays gilded the 
mountain tops about the village of New Florence, Westmoreland county, 
Pa., on the evening of the 18th February, 1863, calmly fell asleep in 
Jesus, Franklin Bell McClelland, son of Elias B. and Sarah M. 
McClelland, aged 16 years and 6 months . . . Co. A, 133rd Regt, P. V. . 
. . was at Antietam . . . at Warrenton took ill, followed the regiment 
to Fredericksburg, where he was discharged on Nov. 26th, 1862 . . . 
came home and died . . . mother, father, brother and sisters survive.  
New Florence Feb. 25, 1863.
