Fatal Accident Near Greensburg Last Saturday Night. Robert J. McCullough, a telegraph operator in the employ of the Pennsylvania railroad company on the Pittsburg division, was instantly killed at 10.30 o'clock Saturday night near the telegraph tower just west of Greensburg. He had jumped from the train when he slipped and fell under the wheels. The deceased was a son of Andrew J. and Maria McCullough, of Derry, and was aged 23 years and 7 days, having been born February 3, 1877. In the Spanish-American war he served as a corporal in company M, Sixteenth regiment, Pennsylvania volunteers. He leaves four sisters - Emma, wife of Abram Brandt, Laura, wife of James Coulter, both of Derry; Maggie, wife of John Chamberlain, of Altoona, and Annie, at home. He is also survived by two brothers - Bertie and Edward. Deceased was a nephew of D. G. and J. H. McCullough, of this city. He was a member of Lamont lodge No. 568, of Masons, of Derry, and also of the Independent Order of Odd Fellows. The funeral will take place Tuesday afternoon at 1 o'clock at Derry.
