Mr. McDermott was well known to almost everybody in this section of the county and resided on the pike a short distance west of St. Xavier's Convent. He lived to be about ninety years of age, was a Democrat of the old school and a man of decided opinions. Many people know and respected Roddy McDermott and all liked to hear him talk. The funeral will take place this, Wednesday morning, at 10 o’clock.
