Mrs. Ann Kolman Mercinko, 82, of Derry died Monday, March 24, 2003, in the
Greensburg Care Center. Born April 2, 1920, in Davidov, Czechoslovakia, she was
a daughter of the late John Bachik and Mary Mehalichko Bachik Kolman. Ann was a
member of Sacred Heart Church, Youngstown, its Rosary Altar Society, and Jednota
Lodge. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband,
Eugene T. Mercinko; stepfather, John Kolman; a son, David Mercinko, and a
grandson, David Keck. She is survived by a son, Daniel Mercinko and wife, Enid,
of Derry; four daughters, Joyce Steuart and husband, Lynn, of Greensburg, Joann
Keck and husband, David, of Latrobe, Carol Walor and husband, Rich, of Latrobe
and Nancy Toth and husband, Vince, of Harrison City; three brothers, John Bachik
of Florida, Albert Kolman of West Virginia and Merle Thomas Kolman of Michigan;
two step-brothers, Paul Kolman of Derry and Bob Kolman of Latrobe; three
sisters, Mary Kolman of Whitney, Helen Britt of Whitney and Irene Kolman of
Ohio; eight grandchildren, Scott, Michael and Bryan Steuart, Sara, Adam and
Emily Mercinko, Rachel Keck and Cacey Walor; a great-granddaughter, Abigail, and
a number of nieces and nephews. 
Friends will be received 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Thursday in the John J. Lopatich Funeral Home Inc., 601 Weldon St., Latrobe. A
parish rosary will be recited 2:45 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home. A funeral
Mass will be celebrated 11 a.m. Friday in Sacred Heart Church, Youngstown, with
the Rev. Chad Ficorilli, OSB, as celebrant. Interment will be in St. Vincent
Cemetery, Unity Township.
