Latrobe Bulletin Wed, May 17, 1950 
John Metil, 54 years of age, of Latrobe, R. D. 3, Marguerite, died suddenly at
his home at 7:15 Tuesday evening. Mr. Metil was a member of the St. Benedict's
Catholic Church at Marguerite, the Holy Name Society, U. M. W. A. and the
Marguerite V. F. W. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Anna Metil and the following
children: Michael Metil, at home; John Metil, of Pittsburgh; George Metil, at
home; Rev. Fridolin Metil, O S B., of St. Vincent: Ann Metil and Mary Metil,
both at home. Also surviving are two brothers, Michael and George, both in
Europe, and one grandchild. Friends will be received at his home. Funeral
services will be held at 9 00 o'clock Saturday morning in St Benedict's Catholic
Church with Rev. Jordon Burick officiating. Interment will he in St. Vincent
Cemetery.
