Bernard J. Metz, 66, of Latrobe passed away on Saturday, Oct. 12, 2013, in RNC
of Greater Pittsburgh. Born Sept. 12, 1947, in Latrobe, he was a son of the late
Carl W. and Elizabeth M. (Pavel) Metz. Bernard was retired from Campbell Tire
Service in Unity Township and was an avid hunter. He is survived by his wife,
Janet M. Musho Metz of Latrobe; son, Mark Metz of Latrobe; brother, Edward C.
Metz and wife JoAnn of Latrobe, and a number of nieces and nephews. Family and
friends will be received 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday in John J. Lopatich
Funeral Home Inc., 601 Weldon St., Latrobe. Funeral service will be held 8:30
p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home with the Rev. Peter Augustine Pierjok, OSB,
officiating. Interment is private.
